What is Defense of Aave (DOA)? A survival defense shooter game that combines elements of: incremental, tower defense and match-3 tiles puzzle shooter elements. The game is developed using Unity and features a 2D top-down perspective.
Investment Highlights: 1. Six Games in One: This project includes six hybridized elements combined into a single game. The sequel will separate and polish these elements into distinct games. **2. Supporting Aavegotchi Land Owners: ** The project focuses on raising the value of Aavegotchi land parcels and decorations, providing gameplay usecase for landowners. 3. New Tournament Reward System: An asset-based reward system without affecting gameplay. 4. Original Aavegotchi Member: The lead director for being an Aavegotchi member will utilize a portion of his own funds to be reinvested into Aavegotchi assets, supporting the ecosystem and community. 5. 2D Graphics SDK: The game features squid-themed Lickquidators and ghost Aavegotchis. This 2D Graphics SDK will be utilized for future game development and future gamejams. 6. Extensive Music Library: The game will feature 100 vocal songs and 100 instrumental songs, offering a total of 200 songs for its 100+ levels. Sound Gallery confirmed. 7. Android touchscreen support 8. Epic Games market release. Itch.io release and possible Steam release 9. Tetrisgotchi game bonus.
With just 14k USDC in funding some of these features will be affected namely the 2D Graphics SDK, Steam release, leaderboard security. Sound gallery and graphics swapping system will be available in the final demo.
I will make a functional demo where I will host a XP tournament where 1 gotchi = XP per gotchi, with potential for extra rewards for the top 10 players such as wearables, FAKEs, behind the scenes information, etc.
Web3 ownership detailed // Monetization: First iteration; In order to compete for rewards newcomers must buy aavegotchi assets. I’m separating the tournament rewards based on how many assets a player owns. Not in the XP tournament demo.
FAKE NFT release which will act as a key to get past the first requirements. Premium NFT with 15 editions meant for the community. (They unlock all 3 ranks of tournaments) Possibility for the demo.
I will utilize land parcels near landmarks and 28Kek Spacious Parcels to give knowledge+experience bonuses such as unlocking a boss practice mode early on. As well as give 28Kek Spacious Parcel owners availability to the final game 1 week before the tournament begins for a whole 7 days of practicing. This indirectly impacts the game without affecting the gameplay. Possible, but need to talk to UserDefault to make an updated Aavegotchi gaming web3 kit.
Arcade tokens monetization You will only get extra lives/resets if you pay alchemica. I will utilize alchemica instead of GHST to create alchemica sinks and further help landowners. Not guaranteed for demo, but will try.

What is Defense of Aave, DOA?
Defense of Aave [DOA] Is an incremental defense survivor shooter type game that focuses on the player defending The Citaadel from the onslaught of Lickquidators.
You will play as 3 characters, each one with its own purpose. Mastering those 3 is the secret to achieving a high score. Gotchi 1 - The combat gotchi. He wields all your weapons and is the bread and butter of dealing with the Lickquidators. With a variety of weapons and upgrades to increase your damage he fends off the enemies. Gotchi 2 - The Income gotchi. His purpose is to collect the fallen Ethereum from the Lickquidators. With upgrades that will allow him to strive away from this support role and give the player more offensive options to play with. Gotchi 3 - The Support gotchi. Sometimes you need a way to freeze and slow the enemy, not just damage. With upgrades revolving around freeze duration and slow amount.
Outside of the 3 playable characters you will have NPCs' helping you out. Citizens, they act as mini-combat gotchis, throwing fireballs from inside the Citaadel. Warrior Gotchis - Their purpose is to stop the Lickquidators in their tracks, stopping their movement once they get too close to the walls, fighting to the bitter end. The shopkeeper is here to give you helpful tips and fun facts, morale is an important thing, as is his shop full of upgrades. In Defense of Aave - Arcade your objective is to achieve as high of a highscore as possible. Outside of just getting to the highest level possible, you can control the difficulty by spending your Ethereum to increase the amount of enemies that spawn every night. This fine balance of how many enemies you can handle should allow you come up with plenty of strategies to achieve the highest of scores! While the amount of enemies doesn't increase naturally each level, their difficulty does. Having increasingly more health, and more Elite enemies replacing normal ones. So time is of the essence.
