In 2021, we expanded our presence in the DeFi space by launching Ambire Wallet - a rapidly growing self-custodial wallet built on account abstraction. As part of this launch, we established Ambire as a unified company to encompass both Ambire Wallet and AdEx, and we also renamed the marketing platform from AdEx Network to Ambire AdEx to further reinforce the connection with Ambire.
As AdEx progressed over the past two years, we carefully considered user feedback and explored different verticals, ultimately leading us to transform AdEx into a specialized programmatic Demand-Side Platform (DSP) specifically designed for Web3 advertisers. We are currently dedicated to developing the DSP and are in the early stages of its launch.
Ambire Wallet and Ambire AdEx serve very distinct user bases, with the wallet catering to DeFi users and AdEx targeting marketing professionals. This requires different communication strategies and housing the two products on a single website and under the same name causes confusion.
To ensure clarity and focus, we are proposing to separate the two products on different websites and revert back to the name AdEx. We will, however, prominently display the connection with Ambire and the team’s expertise on the AdEx website with a clear tag stating “built by Ambire”.
By developing Ambire Wallet and AdEx independently, we can maintain a focused approach for each product, ensuring they receive the attention they deserve without distracting from one another.
