Shibarium Burning

The Shiba Inu ecosystem is advancing, with Shibarium and its governance token, BONE, playing a central role in our decentralized future. This proposal seeks to foster collaboration between the BONE community and Shibarium core developers to assess the technical feasibility of burning 30-50% of BONE tokens collected from each transaction fee on Shibarium.

The ongoing test vote is gathering valuable community input, and its results will provide essential feedback to guide Shibarium’s development team. This collaborative effort ensures any potential changes reflect both community aspirations and the technical capabilities of the Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain.

Once feedback is compiled, a formal voting process through the Doggy DAO will be initiated to determine the next steps for this burn mechanism. This initiative aims to enhance BONE’s role as Shibarium’s gas token while supporting the ecosystem’s deflationary goals, potentially increasing token scarcity and long-term value.
