LOWER SCC NFT MAX POSSIBLE SUPPLY FROM 9999 to 1000

The 23rd of May 2024 marks the 1st anniversary of the SCC NFT collection! As we approach our 8th Monthly airdrop, we want to acknowledge the resilience and commitment of our community. Despite the challenges of the bear market, we have stood firm, delivering on every promise we made over the last 12 months. The SCC has remained a beacon of stability in the volatile DeFi landscape, demonstrating our reliability and integrity.

At the time of writing, our collection's circulating supply is 849 NFT. We have airdropped 61,750 MATIC to our NFT holders with a time-weighted market value of $55,842, which is $96 per NFT for day 1 holders. Despite the bear market, we remain optimistic. When MATIC reaches an all-time high of $2.80, that total value will be $172,879, a testament to the potential of our project.

Crypto, however, does not grow on trees. The monthly airdrops are sent from our compounding treasury, called the eternal engine. The engine is fed with mint fees, platform fees from Polygon Land and our raffle apps, and payments from Richie for making sponsored content. A quick look on-chain will show that in the last 2 months, we have had under 20 new NFT mints and just 4 raffle winners.

This is not a significant issue because the SCC is not a Ponzi; we continue building new revenue streams to ensure sustainable growth. But it does put extra strain on the team. Richie has to take more sponsorships (which he doesn't necessarily want to do) and work to earn higher APR in the engine pools to ensure we don't have to dip into the treasury to fund the airdrops. The entire ethos is that the engine should supply capital to earn yield for airdrops, not to use the engine for airdrops. Smart contract development of our products also needs long and often thankless hours in the code room from Crypto Winner, and of course, our designer Colin has continued to deliver greatness; wait and see our Base chain token launch designs!

In the next few months, we will see the roll-out of a new line of SCC products under the PXP banner. We began this following last month's vote by launching PXP Wizards inscriptions on Bitcoin Chain, and today, we opened the first round of our new raffle game "ORDRAFFLE," which raffles blue chip Bitcoin Inscriptions for cheap ticket prices on the Bitcoin Layer 2 Merlin Chain.

Following this, we will release an ERC20 token called PXP-404 on Basechain and plan to open a yield farm so PXP-404 token holders can use their tokens to earn income. PXP-404 will be an open-source improved ERC-404 token standard, airdropped to all SCC holders. The full airdrop criteria will be available before launch. We also have Arbitrum Land ready to launch, so it's essentially in our back pocket, and we plan to add it and Polygon Land to the farm so investors have some high-risk options, too.

All this being made clear brings us to our May vote topic. Should we reduce the maximum possible supply of the SCC NFT from 9999 to 1000 NFT? This would leave just 151 NFT left to be minted out. The reasons Richie wants to do this are as follows.

1. If, after 12 months, just 849 have been minted, the chances of all 9999 NFT being minted are very slim. This discourages new minters and makes our club less bullish. Minting out just 151 NFT, though, is very achievable.
2. Reducing the mint price of the remaining NFT to sell more of them is unfair and would dilute the value of the NFT for our most valuable asset: Our Holders.
3. Once the supply of 1000 NFT is minted, the only way to join the DAO will be to buy NFT from current holders. This will increase the trading volume and the perceived value of the asset, allowing anyone who wants an immediate ROI to sell in the open market.
4. After running the airdrops for the past few months with little income from new mints, Richie can now see how stressful it would be to deliver on his vision for 9999 NFT. He would prefer to cap the SCC supply at 1000, continue the monthly airdrops as planned, and move forward with creating new products for our club.
