SCC DAO LUMIA NODE DELEGATION

In July 2024, the SCC DAO entered into an unofficial partnership with Lumia Hypernodes through Richie’s YouTube channel. As a result, we now own 12 Hypernodes, and the number is growing. We also have the option to delegate these nodes for extra Lumia rewards.

Lumia Hypernodes earn Lumia tokens. Lumia aims to bridge the gap between physical assets and digital finance, positioning itself at the forefront of the Real-World Asset narrative, one of the most promising themes in DeFi.

Upon TGE, the token will be immediately listed on tier 1 CEXs such as Binance and Coinbase. At the SCC, we are extremely bullish on Lumia and excited to see how this lucrative position can grow our DAO’s treasury. One Hypernode is currently worth $3,590, and the price continues to rise as more are created. To date, 27,053 Nodes have been created, totaling over $30 million in investment.

This month’s proposal lets the DAO decide what to do with our nodes as we wait for the Lumia token TGE. As a node holder, we can delegate our nodes to the DAC (Data Availability Committee) for an extra 50% APY in rewards. The delegation periods are 3, 6, and 12 months. The token rewards are locked until the chosen period ends and are vested to the node holder afterward. Longer delegations pay a higher APY.

There are 4 choices for the DAO:

1.	Don’t Delegate: We hold the position in Lumia without delegating, meaning we are guaranteed to be the first to access our tokens upon TGE, but we will lose out on the extra token rewards.
2.	Delegate for 3 months with 75% of our nodes: Delegate three-quarters of our nodes for a 3-month lock-up.
3.	Delegate for 6 months with 50% of our nodes: Delegate half of our nodes for a 6-month lock-up.
4.	Delegate for 12 months with 25% of our nodes: Delegate a quarter of our nodes for the full lock-up period for maximum rewards.

Please note that the TGE of the Lumia token has not yet been announced.

Additionally, Richie will be taking a well-earned vacation next week, meaning the SCC holder airdrop will be delayed until he returns to his office around August 20th. :)
