TL;DR
The Intensive Co-Learning Project is a project based on the concept of Intensive Co-Learning, utilizing an open-source environment on GitHub. It provides an autonomous and automated process for the entire journey of an Intensive Co-Learning session, from initiation to conclusion. The project will involve a combination of a website, GitHub, on-chain verification, donations, and incentive scholarships.
Background
Here’s a brief introduction to the concept of Intensive Co-Learning: First, co-learning as a concept has existed for a long time, with many communities and organizations experimenting with it. However, "Intensive Co-Learning" was first coined by Bruce Xu and is currently organized and operated under the Intensive Co-Learning brand by LXDAO. While there are various forms of co-learning, what differentiates "Intensive Co-Learning" is the "Intensive":
- You must engage in daily learning around a specific "co-learning theme." You are only allowed to take two days off per week, with at least 30 minutes (preferably an hour) of study required each day.
- You must submit proof of your learning (as per the co-learning content) to this "repository" to prove that you studied that day.
- If you fail to meet the above two requirements, you will be immediately expelled and marked as ❌ failed.
- Each Intensive Co-Learning session lasts 4 weeks. The first week is for registration and familiarizing oneself with the co-learning rules. The second to fourth weeks are the official co-learning period, lasting 21 days, with no mid-session joiners allowed.
- Co-learning themes include, but are not limited to: English, Ethereum, Web3 technology, DAOs, crypto thought, etc. The learning process may include, but is not limited to: watching videos, reading books and articles, practical projects, etc.

Since the introduction of the Intensive Co-Learning concept, LXDAO has organized and operated 5 Intensive Co-Learning sessions, with more being planned. This concept has also attracted other organizations (such as DeFiHackLabs) to adopt it, organizing the Web3 CTF Intensive Co-Learning. Participants have recognized and appreciated the Intensive Co-Learning model, actively participating with a total of 210 participants. The average completion rate for completed sessions is 38.3%, with each session having participants who achieve full attendance. While the process is indeed intensive, some participants still persist until the end.
Description
Based on the current performance and positive impact of Intensive Co-Learning, I have decided to initiate the Intensive Co-Learning Project.
Here are a few reasons why I’m launching this project:
- It is a pioneering and engaging educational project in the Web3 education sector, which can motivate people to learn.
- To promote and spread the Intensive Co-Learning concept, allowing more organizations and individuals to learn about and participate in it.
- To automate the Intensive Co-Learning process, enabling any organization or individual to initiate Intensive Co-Learning independently.
- To attract talented individuals with qualities such as self-motivation, persistence, and a willingness to share, and invite them to join LXDAO.
Ultimate Goal
The ultimate goal is to build a decentralized, open-source, permissionless learning model suitable for the digital world, with the aim of reaching 23,553,806 participants in Intensive Co-Learning sessions.
Details
The project primarily involves creating an Intensive Co-Learning website, along with corresponding automation tools and supporting services.
Main Pages:
- Homepage: Introduction to the Intensive Co-Learning concept, how it works, past data displays, feedback, partners, etc.
- List Page: Search, filter (by status, topic, organization, etc.), and display a list of Intensive Co-Learning sessions.
- Details Page: Detailed introduction, progress display, action buttons, feedback, TG links, etc.
- Initiation Page: Application form for initiating an Intensive Co-Learning session.
- Scholarship Page: Project sponsors/foundations/individuals can create scholarship pools for specific topics, openly recruiting initiators for Intensive Co-Learning sessions on those topics.
Main Modules:
- Login Module: GitHub + Wallet
- Permission Module: Mod, scholarship founders/organizations, Intensive Co-Learning initiators, regular participants
- Donation Module: Donate3
- GitHub Module: The entire process requires interaction with GitHub
- On-Chain Verification Module: Sign Protocol
- Scholarship Module: Review, contract, multi-signature
Technology Stack
Nextjs, React, wagmi, ethers.js, Rainbowkit, Nestjs, Prisma, PostgreSQL, MUI, GitHub, Sign Protocol, etc.
Team Setting
In the team setup, it’s important to provide good introductions of your main team members and their backgrounds for the community to review.
Besides PM - Muxin, the team needs to recruit from the community.
- One PM - Muxin:
- Product design
- Project management
- BD
- Grants application
- One Full-Stack Developer:
- Mid-to-senior level, capable of independently completing the entire project development
- Proficient in GitHub
- Understands on-chain verification, with a preference for completing the Sign Protocol portion
- May involve smart contract development
- One Designer: Hoping for support from an LXDAO designer
- Project Operations: Requesting support from LXDAO’s operational resources
- Advisor: Bruce
Budget
Development Phase:
|Role|LXPU/h|Time/Month|Total (LXPU)|
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
|PM|30|40h|1200|
|Full-Stack Developer|25|80h|2000|
|Bounty|||600|
This project will last 2 months, with a monthly cost of 3800 * 2 = 7600 LXPU
1 LXPU = 0.8 U + 0.2 LXP
Bounty Usage: Primarily for the development of specific technical modules, beta test incentives, etc.
Priority will be given to applying for external grants.
Operations Phase:
Primarily for external BD, product maintenance, operations, etc.
The operations phase will be dynamically adjusted based on the project treasury, and the following figures are for reference only.
|Role|LXPU/h|Time/Month|Total (LXPU)|
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
|PM|30|40h|1200|
|Bounty|||1000|
Milestone
Milestone 1:
- Goals: Complete product design, UI design, and MVP version of the Intensive Co-Learning website. The MVP version includes the homepage, list page, and details page.
- Validation: Initiate internal testing, and demo within the community.
Milestone 2:
- Goals: Complete the page and process for initiating Intensive Co-Learning, add the donation module, and complete the on-chain verification module.
- Validation: Initiate internal testing, and demo within the community.
Milestone 3:
- Goals: Complete the scholarship module and officially release it.
- Validation: Initiate internal testing, demo within the community, and formally launch it.
Sustainability Plan:
Besides grants and donation sources, this project also includes a scholarship module design. Any individual, project sponsor, or foundation can create scholarship pools for specific topics on our platform. Anyone interested in and qualified for the topic can apply to become an Intensive Co-Learning initiator. Once a match is successfully made, the platform will charge a 10% service fee, which will go to the Intensive Co-Learning project team treasury.
Project Revenue Distribution
Since this project requires support from LXDAO designers and the operations team, the following "project team members" include LXDAO designers and the operations team (the operations team as a whole).
First, let me introduce the treasury distribution for this project:
- Intensive Co-Learning Project Treasury:
- Sources:
- Donations
- Grants
- Platform’s 10% service fee income
- Expenditures:
- Project team member incentives
- Basic service expenses like platform servers
- Scholarship Treasury:
- Sources:
- Project sponsors
- Individuals
- Foundations
- Expenditures:
- Intensive Co-Learning expenses
- Initiator incentives
- Intensive Co-Learning participant incentives (optional)
- Platform’s 10% service fee
Intensive Co-Learning brand project revenue sources and distribution:
- Donations:
- less than or equal to 3000 U: Allocated to the project treasury
- upper than 3000 U:
- 60% to the project treasury
- 20% for retrospective incentives for past Intensive Co-Learning contributors
- 20% to the LXDAO treasury
- Grants: Since grant applications are based on specific features or tasks, the entire
