#50 MetaQuiz Enhancements

Proposal to make three (3) enhancements to MetaQuiz.

Motivation

If the DAO approves this vote MetaQuiz will be more sustainable and attractive to more people.

Proposed Enhancements

1. Jackpot Prize Pools

Add a probability factor of 25% (1 in 4) to the MetaQuiz 1st Place Prize Pool which theoretically means that on average one person will win the 1st prize every 4 weeks/draws seeing that each weekly draw will have a 1 in 4 chance of drawing a valid ticket.

This would again be 100% random, transparent, and verifiable on-chain via Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) which is essentially an on-chain Random Number Generator (RNG). 2. Prize Pool Split

Allocate a portion of each week’s MetaQuiz ticket sales to the following week’s draw.

If approved, 50% of MetaQuiz ticket sales will still go to the prize pool however the smart contract will send some of the weekly ticket sales revenue to the current weeks draw and some to next week’s draw.

Theoretically, as weeks pass by the prize pool at the start of the next week is larger making it more attractive for players to participate earlier.

3. Rewards Pool

Distribute 10% of the rewards pool (5% of MetaQuiz ticket sales) to the personal referrer of the MetaQuiz ticket purchaser as a fixed bonus, similar to Fast Start Rewards but without an expiry date. The remaining 90% of the rewards pool would be distributed as MetaQuiz Rewards just as they are today.
