#52 MetaQuiz Top Up

Proposal to top up the MetaQuiz prize pool.

Motivation

Maintain a minimum MetaQuiz total prize pool of 10,000 USDT so as to always make the game appealing to participants.

How it Works

At the conclusion of every MetaQuiz prize draw if the next weeks prize pool is less than 10,000 USDT a smart contract will top up the MetaQuiz prize pool. For example, if the prize pool is 9,000 USDT at the start of the next weeks draw a smart contract will immediately send 1,000 USDT to the prize pool.

With a probability factor of a 1 in 4 chance of a 1st prize been won each week, plus jackpots, plus ticket sales going to the next weeks draw we don’t expect this will be needed often, if ever but we are recommending to have this smart contract in place as a backup so that the prize is always attractive.

Top up transactions will not go through 48-hour multi-sig – similar to how commissions are distributed instantly via smart contracts.

Theoretically and on average with a 1 in 4 probability factor the maximum amount that would be needed each month is 10,000 USDT and that is if no one played MetaQuiz and the winner was always a Humpback.

If the community approves this proposal with a FOR vote a smart contract will maintain a minimum balance of 10,000 USDT at the start of each weeks MetaQuiz prize pool.
