#58 DAO Asset Auctions

Proposal to auction some DAO assets on MetaBid.

Background

The DAO owns numerous assets including METFI tokens, and Big Time NFTs, as well as having the ability to buy and mint MetFi NFTs that can be auctioned.

Motivation

MetaBID launches on 28 October 2023, with the first auction(s) going live on 4 November.

The DAO owns over 3,100 Big Time NFTs and proposes auctioning four (4) of them – not the best NFTs but still NFTs that people would like to own and that we have many of. With Big Time recently launching this auction has the potential to attract Big Time enthusiasts to MetaBid and MetFi DAO.

Assets to Auction

• METFI Tokens: 11,100 (spread over multiple auctions)
• Big Time NFTs: 1 x Legendary SPACE (small), 1 x Epic Armory, 1 x Epic Forge, 1 x Time Warden Mystery Box
• BTCb: 1 x Bitcoin (Wrapped)
• MetFi NFTs: 1 x Whale, 1 x Orca, 1 x Shark, 1 x Fish.

Funds

MetFi Tokens, BTCb, and Big Time require zero funds as they are owned by the DAO/Treasury.

MetFi NFTs will be purchased at the conclusion of each auction with funds from BIDs so again, zero additional funding is required. The total cost of all 4 MetFi NFTs will be 46,000 USDT (standard retail price).
