MetFier Qualifier

Proposal to add a MetFier Rewards qualifier.

Background

The MetFier Rewards program was designed to reward active affiliates and wallets. Today there are a number of inactive affiliates and wallets that continue to receive MetFier Rewards via automated smart contracts.

An inactive wallet is typically a wallet that a user cannot access due to losing their private keys and/or having their wallet compromised.

MetFiers Rewards continue to be distributed to inactive wallets which means USDT is literally being thrown away and left on the table with no way of recovering them.

Motivation

The intent is to reward MetFiers and wallets that are active and engaged and to divert MetFiers Rewards that are now been sent to inactive MetFiers and wallets to the treasury where they can be used for the benefit of the community.

We believe it is ‘fair play’ to reward MetFiers that are actively contributing to the growth of the DAO.

How It Works

The qualification criteria are as follows:

1. Hold a Shrimp (or higher) NFT
2. Generate a monthly minimum of 100 USDT of transactional activity from your wallet by: o Upgrading your NFT o Buying or gifting MetaQuiz tickets o Buying or gifting MetaBid BIDs (see proposal 46) o Gifting NFTs (including Plankton) o Future product purchases and/or gifts.

The monthly cycle will be 4 weeks long and will start for everyone on the same date and time and there will be a countdown showing the remaining time and how much your wallet has generated and/or needs to generate for the month.

Qualifications will always be for the NEXT 4-week cycle. When buying or being gifted your first NFT users will be automatically qualified for the current and next cycle.

There may be additional requirements to earn commissions on specific products (see proposal 46 MetaBid).

Members will be able to automate their 4 weekly spend to ensure that they are always automatically qualified e.g. buy 10 x MetaQuiz tickets every 4 weeks – this will be an opt-in and opt-out subscription and you can always do this manually if that is your preference.
