A shift in communication

Dear DAO Members,

After much consideration, I would like to propose that we give up on Discord and move our communications to Telegram. I believe Telegram is less frictionless and easier to access for our community/ target audience.

With our recent adoption of more Web3-enabled tools, I was hoping to come across something even better, but I have not. At the same time, I feel we are missing out.

Telegram is not as widely adopted as WhatsApp, but it is free from Meta and still has over 700 million users on its platform. At the same time, it shares the same "ease of use" principles, allows token gating (if so desired via collab.land), has broadcasting abilities, takes security more seriously via end-to-end encryption, and has a lot of customization features.

My main reason for this proposal is that I feel we can't reach a big share of our potential target audience because Discord is foreign and confusing to them. Let me know your tendencies by voting below!
