Summary: As June comes to a close, we extend a warm thankyou to Brom, OliverP and Sjors for their hard work as community representatives between January and June. We acknowledge that the DAO reps have sometimes been slowed in their initiatives or output throughout this period, due to dependencies from team members or external factors such as the tokenomics migration. The DAO reps have shown a lot of patience and support behind the scenes, for which we thank them greatly.
With their tenures now coming to a close, it is time once again for the Ticketing Revolution DAO to re-elect a council of three community representatives that will form the voice of the community and assist the team and community manager with efforts in cultivating the growth of the DAO across four key pillars:
Reps will run their tenure from July to December 2024. The key pillars for reps are:
Establish and maintain the Ticketing Revolution DAO Guide and iterate upon the process of vote executions by community members and external parties. Support and assist the community in voicing opinions, ideas and concerns Support the community manager and team Applications:
Application 1 - Discord Username - Jiggy I am putting myself forward to be a DAO representative. I believe I would be a great fit for this role due to my extensive activity and knowledge in the crypto space.
Why I Would Be a Good Fit:
Active Participation: I am very active in Discord and Twitter and looking to help build a community.
Networking: I actively engage with other Twitter Spaces and can help spread the word about our DAO in the broader Web3 community. I can also connect with other projects related to ticketing and events in Web3.
My Plans:
Community Engagement: I plan to continue pushing the envelope, encouraging discussions, and increasing transparency.
Improved Communication: I aim to enhance communication within the community, ensuring everyone is well-informed and engaged.
OPEN has already accomplished so much, with over 6 million tickets sold. However, there is still immense potential, especially given the current negative publicity surrounding Ticketmaster and the growing attention on the ticket economy. It's exciting to see how early we are in this journey, and I am enthusiastic about helping OPEN reach its full potential.
Community Building: Funnel more people into the Discord to build the community by spreading the word on social media, including Twitter Spaces. Foster a fun and inclusive environment with events and dialogue to strengthen the community.
Role as Liaison: Act as a liaison between the team/experts and the layperson/customers.
Moderation: As an American, I can help remove spam and be active during a different time zone.
Connections and Advocacy: I have connections with studios and artists in my city. I plan to advocate for OPEN, from the grant program to ticketing, to help expand the vision.

I want to nominate myself for the coming DAO Representatives election.
My vision is that DAO Reps are Community Reps (Com Reps), and Com Reps need to represent the voice of the community and facilitate the DAO. They are the wingman of the Community Manager to proactively help activate the community and push the narrative.
Therefore, I believe the Com Reps need to be visible, they need to be among the community. They can't be just in the background stepping out of the shadows to share an opinion once every few months. That is also why I believe the current reward size and required effort are fitting. Lowering these will immediately impact the role, its definition, and the quality you may expect. The role should not be compared to some voluntary bartender shift at the local football club.
If I'm elected, I will: put in a ton of enthusiasm and energy. be visible and approachable. hear all of you and represent the voice of the community. streamline the DAO wherever possible and facilitate. support the Com Manager to continue an engaging community support the Com Manager to push the narrative and leverage my reach on socials.
I support the idea from Tommy and Deofex to ensure the role produces more of a defined output and is rewarded as such.
I would therefore be in favour of 750 USD denominated in xOPN with an additional 750 xOPN if set targets are met and/or honoured by the community.
The goals I aim to achieve are as follows:
Define a social media strategy in accordance with the team (including Com Manager), the Com Reps team, and community input. Create and execute a community-driven social media post idea framework. Drive towards a daily social media output on the target socials as defined in the social media strategy. Share monthly social media statistics (e.g., X) with the community. [Stretch] Analyse together with the team what strategies work and what doesn't. [Stretch] Work towards twice daily social media output. To summarise, I aim to work together with the Team AND community to measurably boost OPNs social media presence.

I have included my initial proposal that got me elected to a DAO rep for reference purposes, as these things still stand true.
I will preface this, and acknowledge like the team, this period with the rebranding has not been easy to navigate, and a lot feels unfinished from my point of view as a rep, and there I feel like continuing this in this role for the next 6 months would be beneficial for the ongoing smooth running, and hinted at changes for the rep role.
My role as DAO Rep over the last 6 months has been largely supporting the team in the transition to OPN, and interfacing the communities concerns that were/are raised in various chats and other means, this, I believe has been incredibly helpful to the team, and has had an impact that you guys would have felt, but not necessarily seen the workings out of. It has also included a good amount of time in the exploration of other ideas, contacts, and ways to help grow and support OPN in its mission, and working out how the community can be a part of that.
With this role and combined with my experiences with the protocol as an end user means I have been able to create and with my previous experiences of the protocol as a ticket seller, I have been able to have conversation, and advise people who have reached out to me to chat about OPN and those experiences. This offers me a unique opportunity, and I imagine, more of these opportunities will arise in the future. Being a rep has added further weight to my input into these conversations. Being a rep, I have obviously been involved in conversations about things coming up, some of these things are those that have direct impact on votes and ideas I have started, and I think would be beneficial to have continuation, and within that I have several ideas and thoughts about how to go about communicating that with you all upon fruition of these plans.
Other key areas to consider in your vote:
I am active and known member of the community with a longstanding history of supporting the protocol in a number of ways.
I currently have a largely flexible schedule for various reasons, which gives me the time to really focus into the role, and provide deep value.
I am passionate, as my history shows, about where the community is going and seeing activity within this to see fair ticketing enabled and facilitated by OPN in order to further transform the industry.
By voting me in for a second term, this would help me to grow this role, and create a larger impact from within the community for the benefit of the community, so that you guys get what you need from the DAO, and the teams part in that.
To lay out my own plans: To work towards more autonomous and defined function as reps.
To work towards comms being aligned with a clear strategy that is fit for current market purposes.
To ensure through the above that the community is kept apprised, where appropriate of ongoing developments.
To further develop the role of the DAO within the ecosystem, strategising future plans to ensure funds are used intentionall, and respectfully.
To be active within the community throughout my tenure (alongside other reps) ensuring that reps are seen as core community to be relied up for help, support, information and community structure to further promote and help influence how the DAO continues to move forward in this market. Creating connections and promoting the ecosystem eherever possible fpr the benefit of the ecosystem.
Vote Timeline:
This DAO vote will run for 7 days ending on the 12th July with the top 3 candidates successfully becoming DAO representatives.
Representative Timeline: In the first week, newly elected representatives will be guided by the team and past reps to ensure a smooth transition and warm introduction into the role.
Newly elected representatives will have a 6 month tenure to positively contribute to the DAO, with a new election to be called at the end of December 2024.
Budget: Budget is to be determined in D00010 running until Wednesday 10th July
