When it comes to marketing, there are many avenues that can be taken. We’ve worked on influencer marketing, social media marketing, new use cases, targeting multiple types of audiences through multiple social media channels like Youtube, and much more.
A so-called omnichannel approach is very beneficial for a community like ours, VIDT DAO, because it helps reach multiple audiences and cross-connects them which results in better engagement.
One topic that is a big part of the omnichannel approach hasn’t been properly implemented yet; Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
VIDT DAO has an impressive potential range of audiences; we are talking about community members, potential corporate customers, token holders, and even potential retail users. All of these audiences come together under one subject, the core focus of VIDT DAO technology: timestamping.
There are several subjects that associate closely with timestamping and we’d like to utilize SEO marketing strategies to create a benefit for the VIDT DAO community.
It essentially comes down to using SEO to create another touch point for people to see and learn about VIDT DAO, creating even more moments they will see the name, the logo, information, etc., and create interest that way.
Adding SEO marketing to the omnichannel marketing and communication approach for the community of VIDT DAO will benefit you in multiple ways.
First of all, creating another touch point will simplify the process of converting people into VIDT DAO enthusiasts. This is because touch points are designed to trigger both the conscious and subconscious minds. Those converted will likely become users, or even better, token holders. Increasing the number of token holders positively impacts the VIDT DAO markets on Binance, Kucoin, and Coinmerce.
Furthermore, new users adopting VIDT DAO technology will result in tokens being used to timestamp documents. These tokens are then sent to the Treasury, which decreases the number of tokens available on the open market and potentially increases opportunities for future grants.
Finally, optimizing SEO could also lead to new corporate clients. As we all know, corporate customers are vital for any technology - widespread adoption is key for growth.
You might be wondering what exactly happens in an SEO marketing campaign. These are the basics:
Keyword Research: We'll identify the keywords the VIDT DAO target audience uses when seeking products or services similar, utilizing tools like Google's Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.
Similar approach Analysis: We’ll analyze the approach that similar projects and companies use to understand the keywords that are being targeted, the backlink profiles and general tips & tricks that may be found.
SEO Audit: We'll perform a comprehensive SEO audit of the VIDT DAO Awareness website to detect any technical issues, content gaps, and areas for improvement.
On-Page SEO Optimization: We'll optimize all the elements of the website, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and content, ensuring the appropriate use of keywords.
Content Creation: We'll produce high-quality, relevant content based on the keywords identified, which may include blog posts, videos, infographics, etc. Much of the content that is being created, and has been created, is already beneficial and can be used.
Off-Page SEO Optimization: We'll build high-quality backlinks from reputable sources via guest blogging, influencer marketing, PR, and more. This ties very nicely into what we as the community are doing already, in addition to the other marketing proposals.
Technical SEO: We'll ensure the VIDT DAO website meets all technical requirements for optimal SEO, including mobile-friendliness, site speed, schema markup, XML sitemap, and more. This ties nicely into the on-page SEO optimization steps.
Measure and Analyze: We'll use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor our progress and understand how users interact with VIDT DAO’s online content.
Continual Improvement: SEO is a long-term commitment. We'll regularly monitor results, adjust the strategy as necessary, and stay updated with SEO best practices.
Therefore, we propose to introduce SEO on top of the already existing omnichannel marketing and communication approach that the VIDT DAO community is taking. We are asking for a grant of 1.8 million VIDT DAO tokens to fund all the activities mentioned above, which will be staged in three phases:
The general research A part of the grant will be allocated to fund the necessary tooling and operational cost to perform the research of the keywords, similar approaches and statistics.
The optimizations As described in the previous section, a big part of the SEO approach is to optimize the website and all the content associated with it. This is a very important, but also very time-consuming phase. Therefore, a part of the grant will be used to fund this.
Content creation & linking Last but not least, the research and optimization phases will result in learnings about what content is needed to improve the SEO standing of the VIDT DAO Awareness pages. This needs to be executed as well, resulting in more content and backlinking opportunities. This is of course, also a costly endeavor, especially if collaborations are needed.
