Extending the VIDT DAO Community – Engaging International Audiences using Bilingual Approaches
With the ever-growing international community surrounding VIDT DAO, it is crucial to ensure that all our followers and community members are fully engaged, informed, and activated. Up until now, communication within the VIDT ecosystem has primarily been conducted in English. However, to truly foster a global community, we propose expanding our efforts by integrating additional languages, beginning with those spoken by some of our largest international target audiences, such as Turkish, Portuguese, and more.
This proposal outlines the introduction of multilingual support across key VIDT platforms, including a full translation of the VIDT Academy DYOR platform, the launch of localized social media accounts, the creation of explainer videos (both spoken and subtitled in multiple languages), and other content tailored to these audiences. By providing content in the native languages of our international community, we aim to increase engagement, deepen their understanding of VIDT, and empower them to participate more actively in the DAO ecosystem.
A Multichannel Strategy for Multilingual Expansion
Building on our success with the existing English-language channels, we plan to roll out support for various languages spoken by our most engaged international community members. This approach will not only strengthen relationships with these audiences but also set the foundation for the continued expansion of multilingual content in the future.
By introducing support for languages such as Turkish, Portuguese, and others, we can better serve the needs of a diverse and global community. This initiative will enhance communication with audiences who may have previously faced language barriers, ultimately increasing awareness, engagement, and loyalty to VIDT. Providing educational content, updates, and resources in the preferred languages of these communities will ensure that all members, regardless of location or language, feel fully included and empowered.
With this bilingual and multilingual approach, we can increase VIDT DAO’s reach and visibility across different regions. This will enable us to connect more deeply with specific cultural audiences, opening up new opportunities for collaboration with international partners, influencers, and blockchain projects.
Proposed Channels for Multilingual Expansion
-
Localized Social Media Accounts: We propose launching localized Twitter accounts dedicated to engaging with specific language-speaking audiences, such as Turkish and Portuguese. These accounts will deliver news, updates, and educational content in the local language, creating a direct line of communication with these communities.
-
VIDT Academy (DYOR Platform) Translation: As part of this initiative, we will translate the VIDT Academy platform into multiple languages, starting with Turkish and Portuguese. This will give non-English-speaking users access to all the educational resources they need to fully understand the VIDT ecosystem and how to get involved.
-
Multilingual Explainer Videos: We will create a series of explainer videos, spoken and subtitled in various languages, to provide clear and engaging explanations of VIDT’s core concepts, tools, and opportunities. These videos will cater to our international audiences and ensure that complex topics are easy to understand in their native language.
These channels represent the first steps in a broader effort to create a truly multilingual VIDT ecosystem. As we move forward, we plan to expand our language offerings to other platforms and regions, further growing VIDT’s global presence.
Promotion Strategy
To effectively promote the new multilingual channels and content, we propose a multifaceted promotional strategy:
-
Organic Promotion: We will leverage our existing English-language community to help promote the new channels. This will involve creating content that introduces the multilingual efforts, such as social media posts, videos, and graphics that encourage users to explore the new language options. We will also ask the community to help spread the word.
-
Paid Promotion: Targeted paid advertisements will be used to promote the new channels, focusing on the regions and languages where we are launching. These ads will drive traffic to the translated VIDT Academy platform and localized social media accounts, expanding our community reach.
-
Influencer Marketing: We will collaborate with influencers who are popular within these language communities, such as Turkish and Portuguese blockchain enthusiasts. By providing them with localized resources, we can tap into their audiences and boost awareness of VIDT DAO internationally.
Background
Our team has a proven track record in managing multilingual campaigns and social media channels in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. We have experience translating technical content into various languages while maintaining accuracy and clarity. Furthermore, we have successfully launched paid promotion and influencer campaigns, helping to grow international communities in previous projects.
We believe that by extending VIDT’s online presence into multiple languages, starting with the largest segments of our international audience, we can significantly broaden our community and create new opportunities for global collaboration.
Token Request
To support this multilingual expansion, we are requesting 3.7 million VIDT Tokens. These funds will be allocated to the translation and localization of the VIDT Academy platform, the creation of localized content, scaling paid promotions, and deploying influencer campaigns.
With these resources, we can ensure the success of this multilingual approach, extending VIDT DAO’s reach and creating a more inclusive, global community.
