Summary

This proposal introduces the consolidation of XBorg's Prometheus and Chestplate NFT collections into a unified collection of 3,333 unique Chomp NFTs. Chomp, our mascot, will become the centrepiece of XBorg's digital identity, partner-facing intellectual property, and user-facing NFT experience. The collection will inherit Prometheus's legacy whilst unlocking new utilities and acting as XBorgers' identity across our ecosystem.

Context

Since inception, Prometheus and Chestplate NFTs have played pivotal roles at XBorg in funding, governance, and community-building. Prometheus minters received an average of 13,500 XBG each ($2,100 USD at the average price over the 12 months), five times the $400 mint fee. The collection sustained a high floor price, often above 1 ETH ($4,000), and enjoyed multiple partner token airdrops, whitelist opportunities, and large XBG reward boosts. Chestplate, a free mint, offered comparable benefits on a smaller scale.

However, XBorg's ecosystem has evolved far beyond its gaming origins. With new verticals and major partnerships on the horizon, our NFT collections need to evolve too. As we partner with global consumer brands across sports, entertainment, and lifestyle, we have an opportunity to scale our Chomp IP and align our NFT collection with our new vision. This evolution will unlock greater awareness for XBorg whilst creating exclusive holder experiences, benefits, and events co-created with the world's biggest consumer brands.

Collection Supply

Prometheus Holders: Mint 2 free Chomps for every Prometheus owned (2,222 total supply)

Whitelisted Paid Mint: 555 Chomps to attract new holders and generate initial growth funds (2,777 total)

Whitelisting Power: Given to XBorg asset holders through Chomp Points to ensure quality new members. The XBorg team reserves the right to hand-pick additional NFT investors to be whitelisted.

Partner Auctions: Exclusive limited-time paid auctions with major consumer brands over the coming years, slowly increasing supply to a maximum of 3,333 NFTs whilst bringing attention, new IPs, and funds to the collection. Example: if we were to partner with Manchester United*, we could create 20 new Chomp NFTs with Manchester United traits to be auctioned and host a collaborative experience with them for our holders.

This structure prioritises Prometheus holders, ensures quality new holders join our community, and consistently brings new awareness, funds, experiences, and growth to the collection over time.

*We have used Manchester United as an example of the calibre of the brands in our pipeline; we do not have a partnership with Manchester United at this stage.

Burn & Mint Mechanics

One month before mint, we'll launch a special page on our XBG Portal, replacing that month's XBG Reward Program pledging season. Users will be able to:

Lock XBG: Receive 1 Chomp Point per dollar value of locked XBG. SwissBorg users can participate via the Earn Vault.

Burn Prometheus: Mint 2 free Chomps per Prometheus burnt.

Burn Chestplate: Receive 200 Chomp Points, four times the dollar value of the floor price, to increase the value of their final utilities.

Distribute Whitelists: For every 5,000 Chomp Points, users can distribute one whitelist spot for the 555 paid mint. Allocating whitelist spots doesn't consume Chomp Points.

Chomp Points determine:

• Rarity of Chomps minted
• Whitelist allocation power for the 555 mint
• Share of 2,000,000 XBG Reward Program rewards for that season

The mint will occur on Magic Eden/OpenSea or our own mint page. The collection stays on Ethereum, and the mint will be in ETH.

Rarity Formula: (Chomp Points ^0.75) × Random(0.85, 1.15) × Conviction Multiplier

This introduces randomness whilst giving high conviction holders the best chance to mint rare Chomps. This is subject to change.

Growth Strategy

Pre-Mint:

• Hand-drawn artwork: High-quality, collectable, scalable, crypto-native IP with the world's biggest IPs
• NFT ambassadors: Partnerships with respected NFT figures to grow outside the Borg ecosystem
• Fast mint-out: Overallocated whitelist with handpicked individuals; no whitelist giveaways to avoid flippers
• Target: Beat Prometheus's 24-minute sell-out from the 2022 bear market

Post-Mint:

• Key utilities: Bigger XBG pledge boost and early access to highly-anticipated products like Quant
• IP partnerships: Direct integration of partner IP and collaborative activations with global consumer brands
• Exclusive experiences: Digital minigames integrating XBorg assets with earning opportunities; physical events with partners
• Dedicated resources: NFT Product Manager hire to focus solely on collection growth, roadmap execution, and curating holder experiences.

The Art

The Chomp collection will feature entirely new, high-fidelity artwork created by an industry-leading illustrator. Each Chomp NFT will consist of specific traits with variations, including eyes, clothing, horns, aura, and more. The collection reflects:

• Gaming, entertainment, internet, and crypto culture
• Chomp's personality
• XBorger and Borg ecosystem culture
• Partnerships with global IPs

Final trait structure and rarity will be revealed on mint day. Rarity is calculated algorithmically by platforms like OpenSea and Magic Eden based on trait occurrence. Rarity will be visual only, though we reserve the right to assign utilities to specific traits over time.

Utilities

All existing Prometheus utilities will be preserved or enhanced, with new Chomp-specific perks introduced around three pillars: opportunities, experiences, and rewards.

Confirmed Utilities:

• XBG Reward Program boost (Upgraded)
• Private Chomp holder chat & direct team access
• Early access to products & subscriptions
• Holder raffles, whitelists, and giveaways
• Partner airdrops and investment opportunities
• PFP integration + status in the new XBG Portal (New)

Future Utilities:

• Trait-specific: Certain traits unlock unique perks (e.g., branded Chomps = care packages or event invites)
• Events: Exclusive physical experiences for holders
• Experiences: Use Chomp as an avatar in interactive digital experiences like minigames or apps
• Treasury: Dedicated collection treasury to fund growth
• Collectors: Dashboard in XBG Portal awarding badges based on traits owned; customise and flex your assets

Use of Funds

All funds generated from the Chomp NFT collection will be reinvested into the collection to fund awareness, IP growth, and exclusive experiences.

• 555 paid mint: Low to medium 6-figure initial budget
• Initial expenses: ~$100,000 (artwork, marketing, KOL activations, smart contract audits, web development) fronted by XBorg treasury
• Target: 1,000 ETH volume in first two months with 5% collection fee (~$200,000)
• Growth budget: Minigames, physical and digital experiences, merchandise, and more for 2026

Limited-time partner auctions post-mint will add additional growth funds. All funds are used to create new value for holders.

This proposal introduces a refreshed, unified, and highly scalable native NFT collection for XBorg. By consolidating into the Chomp brand, we position ourselves to lead in the NFT space through partnerships with global consumer brands. We reward community loyalty by giving them power over the new collection and infusing life into it through our upgraded roadmap, reinvestment of funds, and burn and mint mechanics that drive demand to all XBorg assets.

Chomp is more than a mascot. It's a way for us to reintroduce ourselves to the world and a passport to the next era of XBorg.
