Proposal to integrate the Circle USDC Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP)

PROPOSAL EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This proposal will prioritize the integration of the Circle USDC bridge (CCTP) (https://developers.circle.com/stablecoin/docs ) in XDEFI Wallet.

PROPOSAL DETAILS: Today, XDEFI aggregates asset balances across all chains. For example, users holding USDC see a total USDC balance across all chains, and can expand that to see the USDC balance on each individual chain.

This proposal will prioritize the integration of the Circle USDC bridge (CCTP). The Circle USDC bridge will enable users to move native USDC seamlessly between supported chains.

PROPOSAL JUSTIFICATION: Integrating the Circle USDC bridge represents a critical step towards XDEFI’s vision of building a chain agnostic user experience, and supports XDEFI’s mission to provide the safest, fastest and most reliable infrastructure for its users.

KEY DATES: 3 August 2023: Proposal submitted and the 7 day voting period begins. 10 August 2023: Voting period for the proposal concludes. 31 August 2023: If passed, the XDEFI team will announce a target launch date.
