Reactivating Unevolved Seed of Life NFTs (LVP-09)

Summary

All Seed of Life NFTs that failed to evolve were all stripped of their governance rights due to [LDP-05], and the NFTs of those who failed to unstaking the Tree of Life contract were locked into the contract. Although not all holders are active and may not have been aware of [LDP-05]^, it is unfair to deprive holders of ownership/governance participation in an NFT for failing to take certain actions. This proposal aims to rescue these stragglers.

Rationale

People who are not aware of [LDP-05] or who are not active have failed to perform the SOL evolution process or unstake NFTs from the Tree of Life contract. The LDP proposal violates the property rights/rights of inactive or lazy investors/holders and it cannot be justified under any circumstances for majority decisions to violate property rights/ownership rights of the minority. Even worse, the [LDP-05] shapshot only received 518 votes, which resulted in approximately 2000^^ NFTs being deactivated. It's ironic that 518 votes would cause approximately 2000^^ potential votes to become inactive and lose value. We must reverse our wrong decisions.

Proposal

• All Locked Seeds of Life NFTs can unstake their Imbued Souls from the Tree of Life. • Unevolved Seeds of Life can evolve anytime through the evolution process at the Tree of Life (https://life.treasure.lol/). After the evolution, it gets governance right.^^^

Lifeverse Council Notes:

^ The original vote to remove governance rights from Seeds of Life was tabled on December 1, 2022, and concluded on January 9, 2023. We gave both Seed and Soul holders 5 weeks to vote for the proposal, well beyond what is mandated per the governance framework. ^ Seed of Life holders had until March 31, 2023 to submit their soul for evolution, giving holders 3 months to evolve their Seeds of Life after the governance vote had passed. ^ Imbued Souls were claimable from the evolution process until April 30, 2023 - 4 months after the governance vote was passed and 5 months after the proposal was put up for discussion. ^ There were a multitude of Discord and Twitter reminders encouraging people to either evolve their Seeds of Life or claim their Imbued Souls leading up to the deprecation date of the Tree of Life. ^^ Revised from the original community proposal - Minebuu cited the total supply of Seeds (7705) and we are correcting this figure to account for unevolved Seeds only. ^^^ This action may cause material inflation of the Imbued Soul supply over time, additionally he Life team runs extremely lean as a best-effort to conserve DAO resources. Supporting old infrastructure and contracts takes valuable developer time away from continuing to improve our current suite of games and products.
