🚨 Zunkz Moving On-Chain 🚨

📌 This is a proposal to move the Zunkz collection on-chain (ETH), the exact date/time of the migration would still need to be discussed for optimal efficiency.

🗓️ This proposal vote will be open longer than the typical proposals so we can discuss and answer any questions in Discord, voting will close in roughly 2 weeks.

➡️ Contracts

• The Zunkz contract would be migrated from off-chain using IPFS to on-chain using no 3rd party to store images, living forever on the ETH blockchain.
• Royalties would be set within the new contract so they could not be bypassed by Blur or OpenSea, with an option to change royalties through contract for special events.


• We would work with marketplaces to remove the old contract from their systems, also replacing the old contract Zunkz images with a placeholder so it is evident the contract is no longer active.

➡️ Distribution

• The new Zunkz on-chain collection would be airdropped to all Zunkz holders, each Zunk owned will be airdropped 1 to 1 with the new collection, putting the distribution cost on the project not the holders.
• This would cost roughly 20-30k to release a new contract + airdrop all the proper Zunkz to the owners, these costs are dependent on ETH price + GWEI.

➡️ Considerations

• Zpets minting will have to be closed once the migration happens.

✅ This proposal is meant to gather the sentiment of the Zunkz on-chain idea from the holder community, the 'how to' will need to be further investigated and planned out properly with marketing and the other developments we currently have in process.
