Problem: With a new asset class added to the Aavegotchi family in the form of realm plots comes a new sink of GHST. This currently leaves those who have heavily invested into the new plots with much lesser voting power in the Aavegotchi DAO.
Solution: Since realm plots and the Gotchiverse are such an integral part of the Aavegotchi ecosystem, I believe it's only right that realm owners get an amount of voting power that is proportional to the size of their realm plots. This ensures that their vote can be heard, which is of particular importance when future governance proposals will concern the Gotchiverse.
Since every plot has a set size in pixels which is also a scaling factor for the amount of alchemica within the plot, the suggestion brought forward is to equal 1 pixel to 1 GHST worth of voting power.
This would mean a Humble plot has a voting power of 64 GHST A Reasonable plot has a voting power of 256 GHST And finally, a Spacious plot has a voting power of 2048 GHST
To put this into context with the most recent realm auction: The Humble mean price was: 236.84 GHST The Reasonable mean price was: 430.94 GHST The Spacious mean price was: 1730.29 GHST
An alternative that was put forward in the DAO discussion thread would be to give every plot a voting power weighted at half a GHST per pixel; this would put all three sizes well below their GBM floor price, with a vote afterward allowing for fine-tuning of final voting power amounts while ensuring that all land owners will have a say with their newly enabled 0.5 GHST/pixel voting power.
This would mean a Humble plot has a voting power of 32 GHST A Reasonable plot has a voting power of 128 GHST And finally, a Spacious plot has a voting power of 1024 GHST
