Summary

This proposal formally confirms the continuation (or removal) of the Treasurer role within the Aavegotchi DAO and defines its current scope and compensation.

As a reminder, AGIP-159 included the following note:

“Officer Roles (brief note) Current Officers (including Treasurer as one of likely 2–4) continue temporarily. DAO decides full Officer/Treasurer numbers, roles, and compensation in a follow-up election post this vote.”

What is the role of the Treasurer?

The Treasurer responsibilities are:

• Gathering all necessary information and initiating transactions on behalf of the DAO (multisig operations)
• Managing treasury flows related to AGIPs and answering treasury-related questions
• Coordinating with other signers and contributors when payments or transfers are required
• Occasionally maintaining contact with partner teams (e.g. Quickswap, Aerodrome, 0vix 🥲) when operational action is needed (hack, migration, contract issue, etc.)
• Attending DAO hangouts to stay up to date with Aavegotchi governance and treasury-related discussions
• Producing complete treasury reports when requested by any DAO members

Compensation

Signers are currently compensated $1,000 USD (paid in GHST) every 3 months.

Historically, the Treasurer role has been compensated at 2.5x signer compensation. Under this proposal, the Treasurer would receive an additional $1,500 USD (paid in GHST) per quarter ($500/month) on top of signer compensation.

Total Treasurer compensation:

$2,500 USD (paid in GHST) every 3 months

This compensation schedule remains aligned with the signer payment schedule.

Note : The updated compensation applies retroactively, starting with the first signer payment that followed AGIP 159.

Period / Election Process

The Treasurer role will continue as long as the Treasurer is elected during the DAO signer elections. If he resigns from his position, or if he is not reelected as signer, the DAO will have to hold a new election.

At any time, a DAO member may request a new Treasurer election through governance if they believe a replacement or re-election is necessary.

Current Candidate

I am currently the only candidate for this role, therefore this proposal will also serve as my election as Treasurer (Maxicrouton), unless another candidate comes forward and a follow-up election proposal is created.
