Summary:

The AUVC was formed to utilize the UMA held by the DAO treasury to actively participate in UMA governance, safeguard the Optimistic Oracle (OO), and generate $UMA rewards for the Across DAO.

Participating in 792 votes with 98.61% correctness and rising, we have successfully raised 445,000 UMA for the DAO Treasury in the course of 9 months. No missed votes, working every single day to do the best job we can for the DAO.

Motivation:

2,440,000 UMA is currently delegated to our voting wallet and quorum was not reached on the last vote to allow the delegation to be removed OR for us to continue operating. If we stop voting the DAO will start getting slashed and our UMA holding will rapidly diminished. Last time we were slashed many months ago, it was around 2,500 UMA for 1 incorrect vote.

We would prefer to continue operating, but if the DAO does not want us to continue than we must reach the 12MM $ACX quorum to allow the delegation to be removed and the UMA unstaked. Non-participation leaves us in a very unfair position of no longer being paid and being stuck with the responsibility of the DAO being slashed if we stop voting. We still have hope that our services were appreciated and some people just forgot to vote. A "No" vote would be great, but vote either way you must, it is your duty to the DAO.

A “FOR” Vote

Authorizes the use of the oSnap Multi-sig(0xB524735356985D2f267FA010D681f061DfF03715) to:

1. Remove delegation from the AUVC voting wallet: 0x55Cfebb12AB9A0C982057109b14f394dC19abA03
2. Unstake the full balance of UMA from the UMA voter dapp

Also requests the AUVC return 10,000 UMA to the DAO Treasury from our payroll wallet(0x1AB83bc391B0bDbc34Ab69D02Bf34f4B643C64F4)

An "Against" vote

Authorizes the AUVC to retain the 10,000 UMA held in trust and use the funds as commission for another 3 month extension to our term.

An "Abstain" vote

Allows you to continue hiding your true feelings but still help the DAO reach quorum on an important decision.
