Common confusion in ACS and ACSI tokens for beginners.

Voting ended about 5 years agoSucceeded

I've managed to bring in many friends into ACryptoS and literally every single one of them couldn't understand the difference between ACS and ACSI token. Fortunately, I was doing this over a long coffee session with them and cleared their confusion before getting them to put money into it.

Most of their feedback was that the dual tokens are not doing the platform justice and it is causing unnecessary confusion due to their extremely similar names and branding.

Since ACS is meant for yield farming for ACS vaults, it makes sense for it to be named ACS.

ACSI, being the farmed token for stableswap, isn't going to differentiate itself from ACS despite belonging to a totally different product.

If not for my clarification to my friends, they would have left to other defi projects on BSC as they are afraid to put money into overly complicated projects.

Therefore, I'm proposing a few changes to reduce the entry barrier for newcomers and also to improve branding of the hidden gem, stableswap:

  1. Changing the name of the ACSI token to "Stableswap (SSWAP)"
  2. Changing the token logo of ACSI token to the current stableswap logo on https://app.acryptos.com/x/ but retaining the ACS token colour scheme.
  3. Launch a standalone domain name for stableswap and rebrand the site with stableswap's own logo. ( eg. "stableswap.finance" or "stableswap.io" )
  4. Include tactical messaging on the new site to showoff the ACS branding with stableswap being a product under the ACS umbrella. (eg. "Powered by AcryptoS")
  5. Standalone stableswap social media accounts to be created and managed to push stableswap as an important stablecoin defi project on BSC just like curve.fi did.
