DAO Dissolution and Leadership Restructuring

Voting ended about 1 year agoSucceeded

DAO Dissolution.jpg

Today, we’re sharing a proposal that could sharpen our focus and speed our journey towards an AI-centered L1 chain: dissolving the current AirDAO Council and transitioning to a temporary centralized leadership under a transition CEO, Igor, to drive us into the AI space. What we’re proposing is a shift in how we make decisions. Our DAO structure, with its nine-member council and Snapshot votes, has been at the center of AirDAO governance. Your input has guided us through rebrands, partnerships, and recoveries. But as we pivot to a specialized L1 blockchain powered by autonomous AI Agents, we’ve hit a hard truth: a DAO can be too slow for the pace we need. The AI future—where agents transform HR, DeFi, yield farming, and more—moves fast, and we can’t afford to fall behind. Dissolving the council and handing the reins to Igor as a transition CEO is about ensuring we can execute this pivot with the urgency it demands.

Vote Window: March 21, 10 AM – March 25, 10 AM

Voting Eligibility: This is your call, as always. Voting power will reflect your stake in our ecosystem:

  • AMB token holders
  • Hera pool stakers
  • Apollo node operators
  • BOND token holders
  • stAMB token holders (Liquid AMB stake)
  • AST token holders
  • HBR token holders

If this passes, Igor will step in immediately, aligning our resources to the AI vision you’ve endorsed. We’re asking you to help us move faster, to secure AirDAO’s place in an industry that’s changing by the day. Thank you for being with us through it all.
