New Boule Member Election!

Note:

Several weeks ago Aladdin put out a call for nominations for new potential Boule members. The three most suitable, serious and committed candidates have been invited to the past two Boule research meetings to introduce themselves to the community, and to give us a taste of their research style by presenting one (or more, in some cases!) project that they are personally interested in. Each candidate is standing for election to the Boule council independently, and the Boule council has sufficient space that all three could be elected simultaneously, if the community should choose that.

Note that due to time constraints and scheduling, both Mr. Masa and Voynich.The.Younger ended up presenting in two different meetings. Each video link points directly to the beginning of the candidate’s allotted time. Please remember when reviewing the videos that you are not voting for the strategy or project that each presenter discussed, but rather for the presenter themselves, so please evaluate each candidate only based on whether you believe they would be a valuable Boule member.

Community Election Instructions:

Please review the above videos to get to know the candidates. The Aladdin community (including all ALD and xALD holders) is invited to vote Yes or No to each candidate. Any combination of yes/no votes is acceptable (i.e. all yes, all no, or any combination thereof). The voting period will last for 1 week.

Boule members who receive > 75% yes votes, with a quorum of 2.0M ALD voting weight will be considered elected to the Boule council.

Each of the three candidates being considered are already members of the Aladdin community, and AladdinDAO hopes any candidate who fails to meet the threshold for election will continue to be core members of our community in their current capacity, and they will be welcome to re-submit their candidacy again in a later election.
