Vault Exit Fee Return Strategy

Voting ended about 4 years agoSucceeded

We recently completed the airdrop of the new $ALTRU token to Altrucoin and BankerDoge holders and stakers. To see you tokens, import the contract address into your wallet: 0x377ef66728d344bfa2bb370186ab4b57092577bd

For AC and BD stakers, to ensure that everyone got their staking bonus, we had to unstake peoples tokens, which means we had to charge the exit fee. However, we would like to return the exit fee to our stakers in one of the two ways listed below.

Option 1: Directly send the fees back to the stakers wallets.

Pros

  • no action is needed on the staker’s part

Cons

  • Does not encourage people to stake
  • Allows people to unstake without paying the exit fee, which reduces overall stakers rewards
  • Lower vault APY and amount staked shown, which is less ideal for marketing and launch

Option 2: Airdrop 120% of the exit fees back into the new vault and have a vault entry fee of 0%.

Pros

  • Stakers will earn about 20% more of the exit fees than they would have received
  • Fairest way to reestablish the vault to its previous state
  • Encourages people to stake

Cons

  • Stakers will need to wait 15 days (min lock time) before they can unstake their tokens

Please vote on which of the two options you would like the team to carry out.
