National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. NAMI offers thousands of communities across the US educational programs to ensure that they receive the support and education they need. NAMI also shapes national public policy to help people and families with mental illnesses and offers a HelpLine to provide personal and immediate support. American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) - The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization based in New York City on a mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP is the world's largest private funder of suicide prevention research.
