Proposal

We propose halting the early user incentive rewards for the web and mobile wallets to focus on the extension launch. This shift aims to direct resources toward the extension, reserve rewards for its impactful launch, and incentivize users to migrate to the extension.

Motivation

The primary motivation for this proposal is to strategically allocate resources toward the extension, which is currently in private beta testing and receiving enthusiastic feedback. The extension promises to bridge the gap between EOAs and Smart Accounts, significantly enhancing the Web3 user experience. By stopping early user incentives for web and mobile wallets, we can:

• Focus on the extension as our flagship product.

• Preserve rewards for a significant, community-centric extension launch campaign.

• Encourage migration of web wallet users to the extension.

While we see the extension as Ambire's future, we remain committed to developing the mobile app and plan to upgrade it soon.

This proposal will not affect the staking rewards, and users will continue to receive them as before.

Voting Requirements:

All xWALLET token holders before the Jun 27, 2024 snapshot at 14:00 UTC can participate in this vote. Users who stake tokens after the snapshot will not be eligible.
