Proposal

This is an Ambire Governance Proposal to mint and bridge 10M $WALLET to a Layer 2 solution, specifically Optimism or Base, and establish a $WALLET/$ETH liquidity pool position on Uniswap V3.

Motivation

As the Ambire Wallet community grows, so does the demand for trading and acquisition opportunities for our native $WALLET token. Bridging the token to L2 will make $WALLET more accessible to a wider audience.

Specification

The token will be added to the Superchain token list and bridged via the Optimism Bridge or Base Bridge

The liquidity will be added on Optimism or Base on a $WALLET/ETH pool, and the LP NFT will be held in our (the company's) Ambire Wallet account, secured via a hardware wallet key. The liquidity provision will be executed at an undisclosed time up to 2 weeks after the governance vote commences.

Voting requirements

You can vote if you are a xWALLET holder (xWALLET are tokens received for staking $WALLET). Anyone who owns xWALLET staking tokens can participate in this governance vote.
