Ambire Legends, the onchain game with exciting quests exclusive to Ambire browser extension early testers is off to a tremendous start! Hundreds of new users downloaded the Ambire extension in the early hours of the campaign and started their onchain journey in the world of smart accounts.

The activity is staggering and we love it! However, the year is coming to an end and Christmas holidays are behind the corner. Normally, engagement and activity on the web is lower during holidays and we expect this for Legends as well.

We see this as an opportunity to motivate the most dedicated onchain explorers with a limited time XP boost during the holiday season. We propose to double the standard XP rate for all Legends activities between 24.12.2024 and 01.01.2025. On one hand, devoted players will be rewarded for being active in the lower season. On the other hand, this boost might create a healthy competition and FOMO and eventually motivate more people to keep playing Legends.

What is Ambire Legends

Ambire Legends is an on-chain game designed to introduce users to Ambire Wallet’s smart accounts while rewarding them for participation. Players begin by choosing a character, minted as a soulbound NFT. The character starts at level zero, and users earn experience points (XP) by performing blockchain actions with their Ambire smart accounts. As users accumulate XP, their characters level up and unlock rewards, including $WALLET tokens from a total of 195M reward pool.

Proposal motivation

Usually, engagement and activity on the web is lower during holidays and we expect this for Ambire Legends as well. However, as the Legends campaign is just starting, we want to keep the momentum going and motivate higher usage of the Ambire extension and the Legends app.

As a way to motivate higher usage, we propose a temporary boost of XP in Ambire Legends: Between 24.12.2024 and 01.01.2025 actions* will accrue 2x the standard XP, as listed in the Legends dapp.

*Important: The “Beastwhisperer” and “Summoner” cards will be excluded from the booster.

As a result, devoted players will be rewarded for being active in the lower season. On the other hand, this boost might create a healthy competition and FOMO and eventually motivate more people to keep playing Legends.

Voting eligibility

Anyone holding xWALLET tokens before the snapshot on 16.12.2024 at 15:00 UTC will be eligible to vote. Users who stake tokens after the snapshot will not be eligible.
