Cap Report 09/09/20.

Hello, all you ancients! I'm going to keep this one straight as a bullet. Here are some events that have occurred in the last few weeks that will make up the main things to talk about at our next discussions with the Caps and ancients.

MMC Pivot: A plan has been formed for what types of adjustments need to be made to our current social media structure as well as platforms (mostly Discord) in order to improve the clubhouse and facilitate the process for new members to join MMC's new mission, these changes should take place in the coming weeks and everyone is welcome to suggest adjustments, share feedback and concerns regarding these changes.

Dao/Capinents: Braves has stepped down from the Chairman role of MMC DAO, I am sure he would be glad to answer any questions by himself regarding his personal decision. But speaking for all Capinents, I am sure a degree of uncertainty to their roles obligations, sudden changes to their Cap routines compared to what they where previously assigned to do, has often been part of their thoughts in meetings lately.

A few weeks ago, an Ancient sent a proposal that was about a topic that has been talked about a lot in the Ancient chat, especially in the last few months. It revolved around how the DAO has had fewer votes coming from the community. From the view point of the Capinents, the Ancients, or the community as a whole, it is clear that the DAO structure as it is now is not efficient at accomplishing tasks the way they should be or were expected. The many changes in the NFT space and how they affected most NFT projects have shown that DAO systems, even if they were set up to perform well under previous standards, need to be tweaked over time to better meet community needs.

With a new and fresh direction to look forward for MMC, there is no better time for us to revaluate, locate the broken gears preventing the DAO to properly function as it was envisioned for, and apply the solutions needed to have it at the least less bloated from unnecessary and unused features.
