Member responsibilities

Following Voting Cycle 19, the Anticapture Commission's membership was recalculated and re-evaluated. Based on reflections and insights from that process, changes to the Member Responsibilities are proposed as outlined below:

Before: 6.1 Member Responsibilities

  • Attend office hours at least once per Season to listen to community feedback and raise concerns to the broader governance community on their behalf.
  • Provide feedback, approval and/or coordinate authorship of any reports circulated to the Citizens’ House.
  • Attend the regular Cycle Anticapture Commission Call
  • Vote on the Anticapture Commission Snapshot Space
  • Provide delegate approvals or a reason for not providing approval on >10% of the proposals requiring approval during the period
  • Members must elect a Commission Lead each Season, by simple majority vote among qualifying members

After: 6.1 Member Responsibilities

  • Must attend office hours at least once per Season to listen to community feedback and raise concerns to the broader governance community on their behalf.
  • Provide feedback, approval and/or coordinate authorship of any reports circulated to the Citizens’ House.
  • Must attend the ACC Internal Meeting at least once per season. Attendance can be fulfilled by making comments on the Internal Meeting agenda document and providing feedback.
  • Maintain = > 70% voting participation on the Anticapture Commission Snapshot Space.
  • Provide delegate approvals on > 7% of the proposals requiring approval during the period
  • Members must elect a Commission Lead each Season, by simple majority vote among qualifying members
