One of the responsibilities assigned to members is to attend office hours at least once per Voting Cycle (every three weeks) to listen to community feedback and convey these concerns to the broader governance community on their behalf. This practice ensures that the voices of individual delegates are heard, even as protocols and OP Chains potentially gain more voting power and dominate discussions.
During the first Anticapture Commission Internal Meeting, we discussed the ideal frequency for these calls, aiming to balance the objectives of effective communication and minimization of the workload for active delegates. We are considering two options:
Holding Office Hours every week, allowing us to engage with the broader delegate community to discuss topics related to Anticapture and Governance in general. Scheduling one Office Hour per cycle, immediately before our Internal Meeting, to offer individual delegates the opportunity to express concerns while keeping activities as efficient as possible.
Should this change be adopted, it will take effect from Voting Cycle #18. The resolution will be communicated via the ACC’s communication thread and will necessitate modifications to the ACC Internal Operation Procedures.
