The purpose of the vote is to select one Ape Assembly Spokesperson. This role plays an important part in ensuring communication, alignment, and representation within the Ape Assembly. The role was announced in the Ape Assembly announcements channel on August 15, 2023 and interested members applied through the Ape Assembly forum channel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the official representative of the AA communications and interactions (i.e. AA meetings)
  • Collaborate with the Working Groups to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
  • Ensure that AA activities, discussions, and decisions are communicated transparently to the community, promoting openness.
  • Report AA activities, progress, and outcomes to the Governance Working Group or other relevant bodies within the DAO.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with ApeCoin DAO's goals, values, and ongoing projects.
  • Prior experience in public relations, media interactions, or community engagement is a plus.
  • A deep understanding of the decentralized landscape and crypto space.

Evil - Artist, mentor, and curator from New Delhi, India. He has been an early advocate for NFTs in India since 2020. As a Co-Founder of Meebits DAO, a former Council member of BOTB community and Pizza DAO, and an Ambassador for NFT marketplace Makersplace, Evil possesses a wealth of experience in the NFT and blockchain space. He has a track record of community building, having organized the nation's first in-real-life NFT exhibitions in 2021, garnered media attention for his contributions to the crypto space, and actively educated newcomers. He believes his ability to filter out noise and align individuals with common goals will be valuable for the Ape Assembly as a spokesperson.

Moca_Bond_007 - Computer Scientist from Germany who embarked on his blockchain journey in December 2017, primarily focusing on technical aspects and expanded into DeFi and liquidity provision. Committed to compliance and regulation, he pursued financial exams, becoming a certified Financial Advisor and Anti-Money Laundering Officer in Germany and Switzerland. Moca Bond co-founded the LympoDAO in 2021 and currently leads other community-owned DAOs. He's known for being a vocal advocate, critical when necessary, but committed to fostering positive, productive, and professional community relationships. He aspires to bring experience and heightened engagement to ApeCoin DAO while maintaining neutrality and supporting community goals.

Bigbull - Early ApeCoin holder with a well-established presence in the NFT and crypto space, starting their journey in 2019 and actively participating in projects like MAYC and BAYC. He is also a member of the BOTB Community Growth Council and has experience as a Board Director in a listed company, with a background in large tech firms and blockchain investments. Bigbull’s deep involvement in ApeCoin DAO includes submitting a successful AIP-295, demonstrating their ability to rally community support. He is motivated by a desire to strike a balance between centralization and community engagement, with a commitment to holding the APE rewarded for the role for at least 12 months to contribute to ApeCoin DAO's success.
