ApeCoin DAO – Discourse Facilitator Elections - Term Beginning July 2023

Abstract

The nomination process for the ApeCoin DAO was established by AIP-240, which outlines a process for community members to apply to become a community Discourse Facilitator. Applicants put themselves forward and nomination profiles were posted on Discourse for community discussion. Since May 13th, the community has been discussing, engaging, and providing feedback to the nominees across various platforms.

This election process for the ApeCoin DAO was also established in AIP-240, which outlines the process for an equal and fair opportunity to be elected as a Discourse Facilitator.

These 14 candidates were selected from the conclusion of the nomination process. In this vote, the top 2 will be elected as Discourse Facilitators. The term shall begin June 2023 and will last through August 2023.

Overall Cost

Each Discourse Facilitator member shall receive compensation as stated in AIP-240, which is $8,000 of ApeCoin equivalent per month for the term.
