Proposal 003: ARC Expansion

Voting ended 7 months agoSucceeded

Abstract

This proposal builds upon the ARC framework introduced in Proposal 002, extending its functional access and interoperability logic to ecosystem projects while maintaining clear jurisdictional and regulatory boundaries. Projects who launch using Arc technology will provide a portion of their tokens to the ARC community. Legacy $ARC (pre-v2) holders will continue to be supported through the existing v2 migration mechanism for seamless migration.

This model establishes a scalable precedent for future partner launches, allowing projects to adopt ARC-compatible access frameworks that expand functional utility and participation while remaining compliant under FINMA, MiCA, and Samoa standards. What you are voting on:

- “Yay” – You support partner projects launching tokens using ARC technology and to independently choose to provide access to $ARC holders under their own terms.

- “Nay” – You do not support partner projects launching tokens using ARC technology or providing $ARC holders with these tokens.

This vote is not about building ARC features. It is specifically about approving partner launches and access frameworks.

Motivation

The ARC ecosystem is expanding. Partner projects want to integrate ARC technology and offer $ARC holders functional access to their tools or services. This proposal ensures $ARC holders can participate in these integrations while maintaining non-financial, utility-based acces, consistent with ARC’s regulatory framework.

Key points:

  • $ARC holders gain functional access to partner projects leveraging ARC infrastructure.

  • Legacy holders continue to be supported through the existing v2 migration mechanism.

  • This vote does not approve development of new ARC features; it only approves partner token launches and access mechanisms.

How It Works

$ARC remains a utility token for functional access across ARC-integrated projects.

Partner projects may issue their own tokens under their own terms; holding $ARC does not guarantee, entitle, or require any token allocation.

This proposal enables cross-access and interoperability, not financial benefits or profit.

Final Disclaimer

$ARC is a multi-purpose utility token designed solely for access and participation within the ARC ecosystem. It does not represent an investment; equity, or financial product. Any allocations are usage-based and non-guaranteed, deriving only from activity within the ecosystem. Participation may be restricted by local law.
