Artizen is a community fund for art, science, and technology. Our mission is to invest in human creativity. Each season, we fund new projects in exchange for cultural Artifacts which we collect in our community Treasury.
This Proposal establishes the Artizen Constitution as a dynamic framework. Initially, it entrusts ART holders with governance over our Treasury and the power to amend the Constitution, setting the stage for a gradual transition to full community governance in line with the principles of Progressive Decentralization.
Artifacts - Open edition NFTs designed to capture the essence of a project and its impact on the world.
ART Token - A utility token used to curate projects for the Artizen Fund, govern our community treasury, and more.
Proposal - A formal document submitted by any ART holder, proposing amendments to this Constitution, or actions to buy, sell, distribute, or otherwise move assets from our community Treasury.
Treasury - All Artifacts, NFTs, crypto, and digital assets held in our SAFE.
Multi-Signers - The group of people responsible for safeguarding the Artizen Treasury and ensuring Proposals are executed once accepted by ART holders.
Any amendments to the Artizen Constitution or actions to buy, sell, distribute, or otherwise move assets from the Treasury must be done via a governance Proposal.
Any ART holder may author and directly submit Proposals to Artizen’s SnapShot for consideration by our community.
Proposals that receive a majority of the vote from ART holders and that meet or exceed the quorum threshold are approved while those that fail to reach a quorum or do not receive a majority of the vote are rejected.
There are nine (9) Multi-Signers for our SAFE and any transaction requires the confirmation of 5 of 9 signers.
The responsibility of Multi-Signers is to safeguard the Artizen Treasury and ensure Proposals are executed once approved by ART holders.
Any movement of assets from the Artizen Treasury is only permitted if authorized via a governance Proposal.
Multi-Signers may resign or be replaced at any time via a standard governance Proposal.
