AIP 11: Authorising multisig to exchange any powETH for ETH or stablecoins

Summary

This proposal seeks authorisation for the multisig to try and exchange any forked powETH resulting from the Ethereum merge in return for ETH or a stablecoin in the way seen fit by the multisig holders.

Details

The ETH merge will occur at blockheight 15,540,293 when Ethereum Mainnet hits the Terminal Total Difficulty (TTD) value of 58750000000000000000000. The merge will be in the early UTC hours of 15 September 2022. The merge may create forked powETH tokens. The suggestion is for the multisig to try to exchange any resulting forked powETH in return for ETH or stablecoin as soon as authorised and in the way seen fit by the multisig.

Motivation

The motivation is to maximise the return for the DAO.
