EREN THE SOUTHPAW - NFT Proposal

What does EREN NFT represent:

• This is the first manga IP to come into the Astar Network NFT space.
• Eren The Southpaw is a manga/comic by a successful and popular artist in the Japanese manga space. Twitter: @nora_ito
• Eren is a fearless GRAFFITI artist in the comic and is the creator of many iconic graffiti pieces within it.
• 2 such pieces “The Black Monster” & “Night in Chelsea” will be up for auction on Tofunft as 1/1 NFTs each.
• This is a "first" in many respects, similar to our AD DAO.

Why should the DAO bid for these pieces:

• Eren the Southpaw is a popular manga/comic. Manga is an integral part of Japanese culture and has a worldwide following as well.
• Currently Double Jump Tokyo, Gumi and other groups, in partnership with Nora Ito, has put the above 2 pieces on auction on TofuNFT.com.
• This is the first of its kind IP based manga NFT auction in the Polkadot ecosystem and being watched closely by many interested parties.
• Bidding for and winning this art piece puts the DAO in the spotlight, not just in the Polkadot ecosystem, but also among the manga fanbase.
• The winner gets the opportunity to be part of the artist's next manga comic. This would put us in a unique position for our Degen Gorilla, or the DAO itself, to be represented in a widely distributed and popular manga/comic. This could generate deep interest for our DAO and the community that led this.

This may also establish AD DAO as a strong partner for future Japanese IP based NFTs that current collaborators will be launching on Astar Network. Partnering with established teams can bring us recognition and potentially grant opportunities for partnerships beyond NFTs.

In the Astar Network, we can further cement our place as the go-to partner for upcoming NFT launches from established brands and teams. Successfully promoting, bidding & winning one of two EREN THE SOUTHPAW NFTs could pave the way in this direction.

Proposal for bidding:

We propose to bid up to $50k worth of ASTR towards the NFT auction for one of the 2 NFT art pieces. This will set up us as a strong contender for winning one of these coveted NFTs and make history as the first DAO to do so in the Astar Network.
