Teams and Responsibilities

Marketing & IT: The marketing team will design a campaign that runs throughout the entire project, creating content for the website, social media and promotional materials. The IT team will provide the necessary technical infrastructure (e.g., minting page), update the membership portal https://members.atxdao.com/, and add another value to the portal, such as displaying the number of REP awards.

Application & Selection: Oversee the application process, conduct screenings, and handle the selection of new members. Maintain the application database and facilitate voting by interested DAO members for candidates (e.g. a Discord poll within a short timeframe). The DAO members will also vote on the awarding of the "Memorial Membership." The team will conduct 1:1 interview calls with the candidates, in which the team introduces ATX DAO, answers questions and gets to know the candidates. Priority will be given to local candidates.

Onboarding & Mentor Directory: Facilitate online onboarding sessions, set up a mentor directory to support new members, update information in Charmverse and Discord, and create/update workflows for clear collaboration. Gamify the onboarding process with "quests," ideally including REP Rewards. The mentor directory will be an ongoing project. Any interested DAO member can be a mentor. After onboarding by the onboarding team Mentors will support new members, especially in the beginning. Mentors act on a voluntary basis.

Event: Organize and execute the closing event to wrap up the membership round. The event planner will design a memorable event within the budget, ensuring it’s both fun and provides a good introduction to the DAO (e. g. Introduction of the mentors, Q&As).

Roles and Responsibilities Advisor: This role is held by a DAO member who has previously led a project of this type and is available for questions and feedback. In this project, the Advisor also handles public relations tasks (e.g., AMA sessions, Twitter Spaces).

Finance Manager: The Finance Manager is a DAO member responsible for ensuring that expenditures follow the plan as outlined in the proposal. This role can raise objections to unplanned expenses, maintains transparency, and manages the DAO treasury with accountability, ensuring that spending is kept to a minimum.

Event Planner: The Event Planner is a DAO member responsible for designing and organizing an event within the allocated budget. They ensure that the ATX DAO brand is professionally and appropriately represented and that content marketing is integrated. For events with higher budgets, the Event Planner should have experience in planning multiple professional events.

Workflow

The project is divided into four teams, each responsible for different project phases. The teams operate independently and coordinate using the Working Book. However, cross-team communication is still essential. Additionally, regular updates in the Working Group on Discord are recommended to maintain transparency and provide quick access to updates for the operations team (input for the weekly member newsletter).

Compensation & Expenses Standard Compensation: If NFT sales exceed $100,000, the team will receive $10,000 in compensation. If not, they will receive 10% of the sales. The breakdown is as follows:

Marketing & IT: $3,500 (35%) Application & Selection: $3,000 (30%) Onboarding & Mentoring: $3,000 (30%) Event: $500 (5%)

Compensation Distribution: Teams have the flexibility to allocate their compensation among team members as they decide.

Optional Bonus: If the DAO is satisfied with the work and the NFT sales exceed $100,000, the DAO can vote on an additional bonus of $5,000, distributed evenly among each team member.

Expenses

Closing Event: $10,000 max. if NFT sales exceed $100,000 if not 10% of NFT Sales Miscellaneous Costs (Tools, Merch): $3,500

Applicant & Selection Process

Step 1 - Identify Potential Qualifications A submission form will be opened for DAO members to submit for any kind of criteria metrics that they want to see evaluated in recruitment

Step 2 - Prioritize Qualifications Open a second form that lets folks rank how important they think the criteria is - e.g. we take the top 8 criteria metrics

Step 3 - Review and Rank Provide DAO members who are interested in being involved with a way to rank folks based on the metrics

Step 4 - Interview Call One on one interviews with a filtered list of candidates based on the ranking (top 50% or 50, whichever is higher). The interviewer also provides a ranking on each metric which is weighted more heavily (50/50 with the DAO's ranking).

Step 5 - Admission Cut Off The admission cut off will operate on a curve where we automatically admit the top 30% of candidates or the top 70 applicants, whichever is smaller. The membership team can choose from the next 30% based on application quality (for a total admission of no more than 70 new members)

Next Steps

For detailed information, please review the Working Book and Project Plan. For any questions, please write in Discord under the category "Working Groups" -> "Next Membership Round." Also, if you are interested in supporting the team. We invite the DAO to vote on this proposal to approve and initiate the new membership round, with a goal of onboarding 50-70 new members.
