Fund SXSW Venue Downpayment

It's time to start thinking ahead to 2023. For our second SXSW event, we have secured Empire Control Room & Garage on the evening of March 15th. Like last year, we selected this date because it is the overlapping day between SXSW Interactive and SXSW Music.

Empire has quoted us 13k for venue and staffing with a 12k bar minimum. This is a great rate, especially during SXSW.

Expect a more detailed proposal soon that details budgeting and how DAO members can participate in fundraising and more; however, we need to put up the cash to secure this venue.

Empire requires a 50% downpayment and we request 12.5k to be released from the treasury to cover this cost.
