Freeform Community Events

This proposal introduces a freeform community event system in which each month any DAO member can run a community event and be reimbursed up to $1000 for event expenses. Only one of these events can be run each month and the reimbursement model is first come first serve (with a preference to the first event to be publicly announced).

This system would help give DAO members a sense of community through regular more small scale events that aren't solely focused on DAO operations. The freeform nature will also help spread the load for running these members only events.

Prerequisites for Reimbursement

• The event must be held in a public space or private residence. These community events are not intended to be held at a business establishment.
• The event must be open to all DAO members (and their plus ones)
• At least 10 DAO members must attend the event (take a group pic!)
• The event must be announced at least a week ahead of time via the announcements channel and newsletter (coordinate with a DAO operator)
• The event announcement must include the following information:
  • Title
  • Date/Time
  • Location/Link
  • Text Description
  • Banner Image
