Lately there has been discussion regarding "gatekeeping" of DAO proposals. This post is to remind everyone that anyone, at any time, can make a proposal.

You don't even need to post anything in governance. That's just a formality to help people refine their ideas so that terrible posts like this don't appear. You can set the vote to start instantly. There doesn't even seem to be a curation process.

Furthermore, DAOs are not magic: even if a vote passes with 100% that doesn't mean it will just magically happen.

To prove this I will be intentionally absurd.

If you vote yes then I won't be a disappointment to my parents. Vote no and I will continue to play Dungeons & Dragons.
