This proposal funds the Piggy Rebrand+ Activation initiative to position Piggy as a consumer brand for onboarding DeFi users. It begins with the Wordmark + Logo Contest and a 2-week rebrand process that delivers:
PiggyDAO is at an inflection point. What began as a meme has grown into an international icon that people love. With Superform v2 launching and the spotlight turning to Base, Piggy now has the chance to evolve into the consumer-friendly gateway into DeFi.
To seize this opportunity, we must align on a shared vision and turn Piggy’s cultural strength into clear action, starting with a rebrand that unifies the community and sets the foundation for growth.
What we’re proposing:
Launch the Piggy Wordmark + Logo Contest on Jokerace to establish Piggy’s identity and rally the community.
Use the rebrand period (2 weeks) to define Piggy’s strategic roadmap across key verticals:
1. Brand & Culture – logo, merch, memes, partnerships (PRIORITY) 2. Community & Engagement – PiggyVerse, contributor incentives, content 3. Consumer Onboarding – education, bots like Piggy Agent, stealth DeFAI projects
Week 1: Snapshot vote (4 days), Jokerace contest launches Week 2: Contest submissions + community vote By end of 2 weeks: Publish PiggyDAO roadmap (with KPIs, timelines, funding paths)
Who is involved: core Piggy contributors (direction + coordination), community (voting + design submissions), partner designers/builders (optional for collabs)
Timeline: 2 weeks for rebrand + contest. Roadmap published immediately after with execution milestones to follow roadmap.
Success Criteria: New Piggy wordmark + logo adopted across ecosystem and ready to be used in new landing website. Roadmap with KPIs ratified by community and renewed confidence in strategic direction.
Risks & Mitigation: The rebrand is positioned as the first step, not the end goal. Execution will continue across verticals (brand, community, onboarding) with clear follow-up proposals tied to this foundation.
