Chainlink is the most widely used price oracle in DeFi and is the backbone of many protocols. It is a very highly regarded and widely used protocol, as evident by the large amount of Chainlink integration and it’s market cap.

Proposed form of token

We proposed adding LINK in the form of farming LINK/sLINK via the crvLINK farm on YEARN at 8.11%. The LINK/sLINK pair should have little to no IL, but allows us to farm at 8.11%.

Additional details:

We also propose adding LINK with a weighting factor of 0.1. The reason for the initial lower weighting factor is to minimise the impact on the index due to the large market cap of LINK. At a weight factor of 0.1, LINK will enter with an approx weight of 5.8% At a weight factor of 0.2, LINK will enter with an approx weight of 10.8%

Conditions to pass: 60% of votes vote yes over 10000 BASK votes on this proposal.

If however over 75% of the community vote yes for this proposal, we will add LINK at a weighting factor of 0.2.
