Proposal to Set Length of Seasons to 6 Months and Remove Off-Seasons

Thus far, BAYTR has not officially settled on the length of their seasons and off-seasons. Additionally, with the plan to move to a Tech Runs Global membership, Tech Runs Global would also like to align the seasons of all the Cultures.

This proposal is to approve/deny the following:

• Set seasons to 6 months in length
• Get rid of public off-seasons

If the above passes, seasons will be January to June and July to December. This is aligned with what MTR and LATR are currently voting on.

Reasoning for the above proposal includes:

• 6 month seasons are more cost-effective than shorter seasons, as there will only be 2 season launches and finales per year rather than 3 or more.
• 6 month seasons will allow for leadership terms to be seasonal, if BAYTR chooses to do so, as some MTR leads have stated that 3-4 months is too short, but 1 year may be too long of a commitment.
• No more public off-seasons so that members' experiences are not diminished. There will still be internal sprints and review periods for leadership to evaluate and make any changes if necessary.
