Proposal: Allocate 6000 Beans to hire George Beall to coordinate Business Development for Beanstalk Farms through the end of the year.

Resume:

George is a member of the Beanstalk community and a long-time member of the crypto industry. He runs BD for a DAO tooling company backed by many of the major institutional investment funds and has driven partnerships with most of the prominent L1s, L2s, and DeFi protocols. George will manage the strategic planning and execution of Beanstalk’s business development. Additionally, he will help with the operations of the Beanstalk DAO.

Payment: 6000 Beans paid for 6 weeks of work through the end of 2021. All 6000 Beans will be Sown upon approval of this proposal. 2000 Beans Sown Beans will be paid every two weeks.

Commitment: Part time (20 hours per week) through the end of 2021. To be renewed if there is mutual interest at that time.

George's primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Facilitate connections and integrations with, and grants from, prominent L1, L2 and DeFi protocols that will be symbiotic to Beanstalk and the Beanstalk Farms development roadmap.
  • Facilitate recruitment of high quality solidity developers to work on Beanstalk and integrations with other protocols.
  • Be the primary point of contact for Beanstalk Farms integrations work.
  • Source new hires for Beanstalk Farms and potentially a second decentralized development team for Beanstalk.
  • Draft and manage any grant proposals.
  • George will help structure internal the initial operational processes for the Silo (Beanstalk DAO) and Beanstalk Farms (decentralized development team).
