Hire aloceros part-time as an Operations Manager.

Background

aloceros has a background in banking, corporate finance and management consulting in roles ranging from individual contributor to project manager.

Past Contributions to Beanstalk

aloceros joined Beanstalk Farms pre-exploit as a Project Manager and worked on workflows to improve organizational processes. Since the exploit, they have:

• Authored significant portions of the Farmers’ Almanac and corresponding bot commands in Discord;
• Authored the Disclosures statement (BOP-1);
• Wrote How To Guides on interacting with the Beanstalk UI;
• Assisted marketing with outreach research;
• Assisted with testing;
• Assisted with assessing and improving security practices;
• Contributed to the Beanstalk Learning Center;
• Worked on the Beanstalk Farms Handbook; and
• Updated Google Workspace accounts and calendaring systems.

Role

aloceros plans to contribute as a part-time Operations Manager, continuing the work they have performed post-exploit. Expected tasks include:

• Contributing to ongoing maintenance and improvement of Beanstalk documentation on the Farmers’ Almanac and in other forms;
• Managing processes around budgeting, payroll and associated governance proposals;
• Project managing and reviewing the contributions of an Operations Associate; and
• Anything else that would help Beanstalk Farms operate more effectively or increase the quality and usefulness of information conveyed to Stalkholders.

Payment

6,500 Beans/month, paid twice per month, starting from Monday August 22, 2022 (conditional on Beanstalk Farms being funded by the DAO via future BIPs).

Commitment

Part-time (~20 hr/wk).
