Request for Funds: Beefy Convention Participation Budget

Total Funds Requested: $75,000

This proposed budget includes the cost of sponsorships, marketing materials, and travel expenses for Beefy staff for February through July 2023.

Beefy, as a key contributor to the decentralized finance revolution, builds amazing products and helps drive the growth of the market and bring its benefits to the people. We send our best and brightest individuals to expand Beefy’s reach to all members of the crypto, and financial industries.

2022 saw Beefy participating in person at 8 conventions with 9 Beefy representatives attending. This included 4 conventions in the United States, 2 in Italy, 1 in England, and 1 in Canada. Beefy’s participation often includes a speaking role which can be included with a sponsorship package, or comes from a professional invitation. These events legitimized Beefy as a “real” project in the minds of many users, as well as professionals in the industry. People from all around the world waited to meet with Beefy to share their stories on how they use Beefy to their benefit. These events also allow Beefy to branch out and establish relationships with projects in the crypto industry and to network with companies who are starting to become interested in crypto, allowing Beefy an advantage over its competitors.

Sponsoring and Attending Conventions allows Beefy to:

• Builds business partnerships

• Expands and reinforces the Beefy brand to new, and familiar audiences
• Grows Beefy staff professionally and personally

For 2023, Beefy plans to continue a strategic business and marketing spend by participating in industry events around the world.
