Starting in February 2022 community member mobiusTripper built a website to display data relating to gauge voting. This site is better knows as beetswars.live. mobiusTripper has paid to keep the server active since its inception. This proposal requests reimbursement for the server costs associated with that website.
mobiusTripper built and maintained the beetswars.live website starting in 2022. The data displayed allows community members to make an informed decision regarding their gauge votes. Additionally, Beets community members onkeljoe and RzN extended the functionality to added historical graphs and an API to make the historical data publicly available. That data is now used to augment maBEETS ROI data which is displayed in the main BeethovenX website.
Although there are free options available to host websites, a Vercel Pro account was chosen to allow the use of a dedicated domain name and provide reliable server responses.
This proposal, if adopted, will reimburse mobiusTripper for the past costs to keep the beetswars.live website active. Additionally 10,000 BEETS tokens will be transferred to each of the beetswars team members (onkeljoe and RzN and mobiusTripper).
beetswars.live is hosted on Vercel using a Pro account. This is $20 per month. Starting in February 2022 to present that total expense to mobiustripper has been $400.
Upon approval, the Treasury will send $400 in USDC on Optimism network to the wallet specified by mobiusTripper. Also 10,000 BEETS token on the Fantom network will be transferred to mobiusTripper and onkeljoe and RzN each.
