Good morning / afternoon / evening Ludwigs, I am pleased to announce my application to be a Guide Tone. Beethoven X has first sparked my attention back in November 2021 after discovering the Fantom ecosystem a few months earlier. From the beginning, I understood that Beethoven X was somehow different –the first impression I got from the design of the interface was only the beginning. I’ve come to appreciate the sophistication of the underlying BalancerV2 technology, though I am only at the beginning of fully understanding it. I have high confidence in the Beethoven team members to continue executing on the promise of building the future of decentralized finance and want to contribute my part to the project as well.

Why I am applying to be a Guide Tone: Though granted, I probably haven’t been the most active community member on the Discord server (more lurking and listening instead of actively posting), this role would provide me with an opportunity to deepen my involvement in the community. At the same time, it relates to a topic which is essential for a successful evolution of Beethoven X – governance and community involvement in general is fundamental for any DeFi project. As a Guide Tone, I want to facilitate the discussion of new proposals and ensure that every voice in the community is heard. I would like to truly make an impact for community members with new ideas and inputs. Here are also a few things about my background: I am currently a computer science student at University of Zurich with a professional background in traditional finance. Crypto sparked my attention almost ten years ago – I started mining Bitcoin back when I was 14 years old and continued my adventure in crypto since then until today. DeFi has since become my passion, and this is the area I want to work in looking forward. The idea of a permissionless financial system built without intermediaries fascinates me tremendously.

Lastly, I am a member of the Ludwig Lounge since I bought my first Early Ludwig back in January 2022. I’ve also been lucky to win Ludwig NFTs in the town hall raffles.
